Our Review

Our first impression? Wow! And that was just looking at the specification. A compact, portable all in on oven and grill combination with 2 hobs – all that and it is small enough to fit in the boot of your car with all of your other camping equipment, although it is larger than most of the other stoves on our website.

Why do we like it? Well it really comes down to the versatility of it to be honest. It seems that they have truly thought of everything in the design of the stove. It has wind guards on the back and sides, a drip tray under the grill, high and low power controls for desired cook / heat speed and more. You can literally prepare most basic food and drink from this one stove, in fact, unless you were planning a full on roast dinner with the trimmings I am pretty confident you could prepare most meals using it.

We found that the runtime of the stove using the smaller cylinder was excellent. You could easily survive at the least a week away with the smaller R904 Campingaz bottle cooking  and boiling every day. We also discovered that the stove can run from both propane and butane gas bottles of any size so long as you have the correct regulator for the bottle.

The stove is really easy to clean as the grill mesh is removable as are the two stainless steel gas burners on the hob.

It comes complete with a length of orange gas hose and jubilee clips for attaching the hose to the stove and to the bottle. Please note – You will need to purchase a regulator if you do not already have one as the product does not come with one. I believe this to be a wise decision by Campingaz because not everybody wants to use the Campingaz cylinders and including the regulator would bump up the price unnecessarily.

In summary a brilliantly designed versatile accessory for any keen camper or just to keep in the garage for those dreaded winter power cuts.
